It’s been over five years since Cowboy Mouth graced the Las Vegas stage with their unique blend of blues, rock and punk. The band’s hiatus will end this month when the Louisiana rockers return to Sin City for a one-night-only performance on May 20 at “The Venue” inside The Orleans Hotel & Casino.
“From New Orleans to The Orleans Hotel & Casino, it’s fitting that Cowboy Mouth chose a venue famed for its ‘Big Easy’ flair for the band’s return to Vegas,” said John Bentham, CEO of Ivory Star Productions and executive producer of the event. “A fierce live music experience with a raw bluesy edge, Cowboy Mouth is unquestionably suited to entertain music lovers in the Entertainment Capital of the World.”
Known for his engaging performance style, front-man and drummer Fred LeBlanc co-founded Cowboy Mouth in the 1990’s with guitarist John Thomas Griffith. Now backed by bandmates Matt Jones on guitar and Brian Broussard on bass, LeBlanc and Griffith have led Cowboy Mouth on a wild, critically acclaimed ride. Selling more than 500,000 albums domestically, Cowboy Mouth performed for more than 10 million fans and shared the stage with influential music legends like Bo Diddley.
“Our performances are celebratory, life-affirming experiences,” LeBlanc said. “With every show, no matter where it is, we try to turn it into New Orleans during the middle of Mardi Gras.”
