House of Tape officially opened its doors on March 16. The custom-built showroom was curated especially for Tape Face, of America’s Got Talent season 11. Sam Wills, creator and performer of Tape Face, described the showroom as a sneak peek into the mind of Tape Face. Every aspect of the room is adorned in gaffer tape, from the walls and lampshades to the seats with Tape Face’s logo.
There is a room in the theatre, called the Social Room, that is dedicated to the “silent ones.” The walls and ceiling are lined with framed fan art of Tape Face and whiteboards for visitors to #DrawTapeFace. A couple frames have been left empty for fans who want to tag @tapefaceboy in fan art and get the chance to have their artwork displayed in the Social Room.
“Performing in Vegas last year was a dream, but to be able to return and perform in my very own custom venue in Vegas is beyond words,” said Sam Wills, Tape Face creator and actor. “House of Tape is definitely a tick off my bucket list!”
